While bailing hay today I heard a loud bang that came from my JD 410 Round Baler. After clearing the hay from the baler I noticed that the output shaft is bent. Any solutions or reasons as to why it bent and is it easy to fix?? Appreciate the help.

Allen,
I run a 510. Pretty much the same as the 410 but it's 5' instead of 4'. Give me some more detail on what you're calling an output shaft. If I'm thinking of the right part, I believe you're talking about the shaft leaving the gear box to the left side of baler to pull the chains. I've done alot of work in 510's and pretty much have them memorized.

I have a yellow round baler, but I wouldn't know what an 'output' shaft is on a baler?

On mine, the main roller drive shaft broke in 2 a week ago. On this model, there are 3 sprokets on that end. On inspection, looks like it broke before & someone just welded the shaft together. I had a machine shop fabricate one for $155 from scratch. The Vermeer dealer told me to, as they have to charge $450 + shipping for a new one. He said thet have them fabricated too.
