What HP is needed for the John Deere 410 Baler?
Is this a 4x5 Baler? Will my D15 Allis handle it?

Mark,
I have a 510 (5'x6'). I use a JD 5105 with it all the time. It is 45 horses but I do operate on flat, I mean flat ground. The 410 is going to be a spring tension baler and not hydraulic like the newer ones so bale density will be lower than the newer balers so less hp needed. Please do keep in mind the tractor size if you are going to be operating on hills and use a tractor big enough to handle both the baler and the bale behind it.
You can also search the archives. I know there has been some discussion about the 410 on this board before.
Good luck.
