I have a TransMix 3 point mixer...the early version. Everytime I post a picture of it, I get inquiries from all over asking if I can help them figure out how it installs on the tractor, how it works, are all the parts there, etc.

I worked up a step by step photo sequence showing how the mixer installs on my Ford tractor. I've been emailing these 23 pictures along with a sheet of captions to lots of different people. Most recently I sent them to Jon Siddall from (hmm...hey Jon, where are you from?). He, in turn, created a rudimentary website to host all the pics in one place.

This post is to give the link to that site and to put something useful in the archives for the next person who searches for "transmix 3 point cement mixer".

In explanation I should mention that this mixer was originally installed on a Ford 2N. To make it work on my 800 I had to make some modifications. The early versions of the TransMix had mounting hardware that was specific to each tractor model. If you have picked up one of these units second hand, the chances of the mounting hardware being perfect for your tractor is pretty remote. Just be aware that some welding and cutting skills might be needed.

Thanks, Jim. This will be a big help if I ever get around to building one.
