I'm not very computer smart. So I am wondering, "Is there anyway that the answer to certain questions could be posted somewhere that I or others could refer people to so that common questions do not have to be answered over and over again"? For example: "How do I time my New Holland baler" is a question that gets asked more than once. It would really be nice if I or others could post that answer somewhere so interested parties could find the answer. I am not good at typing and the proper answer to that question gets a little involed. Any ideas or help? Thanks, Steve

Steve,

What I would suggest is that you write an article and submit it to Kim. Then when someone askes the question you could just point them to the article in the article section.

There are already a few good "How To" article there and your expertice on NH would be a great asset. Check out afew articles and see what you think. I would suggest reading an article on "Step by Step Carburetor Rebuild" it is great.

At the top of each discussion board page is a box labeled "search for:". As CHRISL suggests, type in a few key words, hit enter and sit back for several hours of research. Some posts may not even come close to answering your questions, but others will. When I found a NH 275 baler for sale near me, I wanted to know about it so I typed in "NH 275" in the box and learned what others thought of it, how to time it, how it was different from a 273, what years it was produced, etc etc etc. Pretty cool!

For sure good buddy. Its called a FAQ for fequently asked questions. It can be as simple as a text document that has Q How do I time my baler
A Blah blah blah blah

If one of you all knowing baler guys want to make one. I would be more than happy to host it on my web site.
Then all you would have to do when some one asks a question like that just RE with " Here check out the Baler FAQ at http://theaddressiwouldstorethefaq.com
If you are interested just email me and I can set it up. All you need to do is email me a question and a answer and I will add it.
Oh well here I started it. Just click on the link.
Just email me some questions and answers and I will add them.

Thanks everyone for your great answers. Kelly, I promise to put "How to time a New Holland baler" on there for you, but it may not suit me for a few days. The local assoication that I belong to is having our annual show this week and I am busy helping with tractor games and the tractor pull. But just as soon as possible, I will get that done. Steve
