International backhoe/ Ford 800

I am trying to use a International Backhoe attachment on my Ford 800 Tractor. The Backhoes Hydralics work sometimes very well other times very very slow. The Hyd. hoses are connected to the pump plate and then directly to the Backhoe.Also, the Ford 800 is unable to pick up the attachment. The Backhoe worked well on a smaller tractor.I bled the Allen head Bleeder, fluid squirts out just fine. what else should I try??

Just a thought and I have no idea on the IH Backhoe but the Ford is an open center system and if the IH is plumbed for closed center then it will not work correctly

Mark, It sounds like you need a Pto pump. Ford pump is high presure lo Volume. International is lower presure more volume. Older Ford hydraulic cylinders were smaller in diameter.

What was the relief pressure on the other tractor, and what is the relief pressure on the 800? And gallons per minute?

What shape is the hyd pump in on the 800? Well, I meant what condition is it in, but as I was going to retype this, what shape is it, the vane pump or the piston pump?
