Just got a Hayliner 271 at a sale the other day - $75 and it has two new tires on it..... ..

However - problem number 1 - when we put the pickup down to working position the end of the center axle for the pickup teeth rubs on the edge of the tire - what is supposed to keep the tire a little further out? it looks like the right hub, right size tire etc....

could be as simple as taking the tire/rim off - turn it around & put it back on..... ..sort of like adjusting spacing between the front tires on a wide front end tractor..... .will move the tire in/out a coupla inches or so...

They probably put standard 15" truck tires on it. You need to look in your manaul and it will probably show something like 5.40x15 and 6.00x15 for the other side.
