this baler broke off aluminum feed forks after baling about 75 bales,when the windrows got thick.not timed properly after breaking a shear pin?Where could I get a manual? thanks for any info Chuck

Chuck, there may be nothing wrong with the timing. It is possible the forks broke simply from an overload. To check timing, turn plunger crankarm straight up. At this time, the post that the feeder bar is mounted on that makes up one of the chain links on the bid heavy chain should be between the "notch" marks that are cut into the frame. But don't be shocked if the timing is ok. Steve

New Holland pubs division sells reprints of all the old Ford, Dearborn, and New Holland equipment. Pretty reasonable, too...the manual for my NH 66 baler was $15 including the shipping. Call them at 800-635-4913.
