Looking for opinions on the best 6' or 7' rear discharge finishing mower for the money and dependability. Have looked at several by Woods, King Kutter, Land Pride, Agco, Douglas by Walco, Rhino, Farm King, Farm Star, Befco.

Anyone have one recommendation over another or had good experience with one.

Thanks

Woods is top notch. I sold a 15 year old Woods and got a brand new Douglas (made in Italy)The old Woods still cut better the last time I used it compared to the Douglas. Wet or damp grass it the real test. The old Woods was just getting old. I should have spent the extra $ and got another Woods. I expect to send the Douglas down the auction road next spring.

you'll get all kinds of opinions and I guess if it works, they are all valid. I have used a Caroni for over 20 years with stellar success. I was afraid of it when I bought it....thinking 'cheap Italian junk' but man has it proved me wrong! I have replaced the deck once (7 years ago) and one spindle but nothing else and it has mown a LOT of grass. It cost me $750 back when I got it back around '82 and I have no idea what they cost now.

I bought a 7' farm king rear discharge. It does a really nice job and mows the grass quick. One thing I liked about the mower is that it has two small belts that run straight instead of one belt the twists and turns.

I have a Woods and love it.(RD7200) The Rhino looks to be built good and heavy.
