I've got a brother that bought a used New Holland round baler. After getting it home, he called the New Holland dealer that had "overhauled" the chain/elevator system on the baler who is also the closest to where he lives and asked if they would order him a set of manuals for it. He said they were just plain set on "No". They would not even bother with it. I don't get it. Seems to me that the dealer would try to help him out knowing he would need other items in the future. I live 350 miles from there and also have a New Holland/John Deere dealer near me. After by brother told me about this I stopped by there and asked them to get the manuals for it and they were more than happy to. Every time I stop by my dealer I'm treated like a king. I have bought a tractor and a few implements from my dealer but I just wanted to see what they would say when I asked them to get those books. Maybe my brother's dealer was just having a bad day.

I drive by 2 closer dealers to go to one 45 mins away. They are great, the other 2 are in lawn mower and weedeater country, dont give a rip if they sell ag stuff or not. With that said NH really pushes their dealers to have customers order books direct.
