been looking/wanting a collectors club for NH for 10 years, just cant find enough guys with a interest.

got a lot of NH stuff I have collected over the years from working in the dealerships and I can safetly say that todays NH sucks compared to the NH of 15 or 20 years ago.

Will , Do you have information on New Holland Buz Saws , I have a Buzz Saw in mint Condition that is a New Holland , It has New Holland Machinery Co. New Holland PA casted in the frame in raised letters

Will, You know your New Holland history. I did know they had made hit'n'miss engines. Our local dealer has one on display. Didn't know everything in the list though.

John: I would think their line of forage and haying equipment through the 50, 60, 70 and even into the 80 could create quite a collectors club. They were years ahead of all the other companies on those lines. In my area there were farmers who's tractor and tillage line ups were red, green , orange or blue, yet their haying equipment was New Holland. New Holland balers would out tie anything on market, plus they were so easy to turn. There are stories all over of guys running New Holland pto balers with 25 hp tractors.

All their equipment was engineered with low power requirment in mind, haybines, forage harvesters. I cant get to that list now, but I don't remember combines.

I am a bit out of touch now days but understand since NH became part of a full line company, they don't out perform anyone.

I guess there is some interest. I'm glad I posted it I have learned something. Hugh, I read once that New Holland aquired a Belgium company in the 1960,s that built combines. I don't know the whole story. I am glad there has been some interest. Thanks for the feed back.

I used to go to Tipton. I live in the Peru area and am a member of a local tractor club Pioneer Power of North Central Indiana. We are just a couple of years old. Have about 80 members. We are having a small get together at Denver Days (80 exibits or so ). A small northern Miami County town to promote our club and help Denver out. It is hard to compete with Tipton a 30 year old show. Tipton is a good show. Our other show 2nd Annual will be August 23-24 at the Miami County Fair Grounds during Heritage Days.
