Glad you came over to see the display. I think we had about 33-35 pieces of equipment there. It was a nice turnout for a first time venture, despite all the rain. I had my W-6 wire baler there on the trailer. Both the T-6 and W-6 created a lot of conversation there.

I wish I had more time to go to those. I know my grandfather used New Idea corn pickers and liked them. I think implements are as important as the tractor to agricultural history. We need to preserve that history as well. Old implements usally get scrapped more often. They will disappear first.

John, you're absolutely right on all points. 'Bout makes me half ill to go to a show and see nothin' but tractors as far as the eye can see. The implements were the meat and taters of farming;tractors only replaced horses.We gotta keep some of this history from going into new toyota trucks.Every time steel prices go high for awhile, more history is lost. Mguy.
