Ford rear mount loader

I just purchased a FORD rear mount loader with manure bucket, presumably mid-late 50s model. It has a FORD tag with the model number I9-87. I am unsure how it hooks up to the tractor. It is similar to a DEARBORN 19-87 loader.There is a bracket and pins for the lower 3 pt arms, but the top has two bars that go straight back on each side, vice coming together for the top link like the DEARBORN. The New Holland dealers' computer system doesn't even show it. They do show a mounting bracket with two hydraulic cylinders. Is this required?

I have a Dearborn rear loader, and it does not come together for the top link. On the back of Ford and Ferguson (and some MF tractors) there are mounting points on either side of the transmission case where the loader is pinned. I have an NAA, and it can't pick up the loaded bucket without the lift assist cylinders bolted to the bottom of the tractor. My MF65, however, does not need the lift assist. I have a manual around here for it, but not sure where I put it.
