IH rollover plows....

We have a couple of old IH "rollover" plows (a 3 bottom and a 4 bottom) that are setting in the shed. We always called them "rollover plows" because at the end of the field... you turned (rolled) the plow over and started back the other way. No "dead furrows" in the middle of the fields. Haven't used them in years. They are designed to be mounted (the 3 bottom have the 2pt. prongs on it). The 4 bottom has a few pieces missing (cutter disks in front of the share for example).

Are these old plows collector items or do they have much value? Dad and I have thought about selling some of this older stuff that is just taking up shed room.

I don't have the model numbers in front of me, but can walk back to the shed and find them.

Any suggestions? Or idea of asking prices?

The price really depends on the condition of the plow. I bought a 314 for $60 but it needed moldboards, shins, shares, landsides and a cylinder to turn the plow. I put in over $500 in parts. I have seen them sell up to $800 for a 3 bottom and $1200 for a 4 bottom.

Here are a couple of links to pics that I have taken of the two rollover plows. I do not know how to post a pic here so anyone that wants to view them will have to cut/paste the following links into a new window.

And here are a few pics of an old fertilizer spreader, steel wheeled drill, and a hay rake.
