Follow up on 271 Hayliner

I still would like some pointers on setting the tension on the bill hook springs if anyone knows. I says almost nothing in the manual about them.

I never appreciated how good a baler this one is until I have read about some of the problems some folks here have had. I am disappointed when it missed 1 in 20 bales, but then I saw this baler probably bale 3000+ bales over the years and maybe miss one or two an outing before it was left outside. This thing was never taken care of either before I started using it. My neighbor bought in in 1978 and it looked like it came over on the Mayflower then. I always thought the newest it could be was in the fifties until I read the stuff you guys posted here on the model/year/description. Here it was only 15 years or so old when he got it. It was probably never stored inside before then by the looks of it then. It sure ain't purdy now 25 years later, but it does turn out a fine looking bale. I baled a few "hundred pounders" with it before I got her shined up and adjusted. Looked like big bricks and darn near as heavy as if they were.
