Strange Plow???

I bought a pull type plow from a local farmer the other day. It says on the frame "WIARD PLOW CO BATIVIA NY USA NO 6X TRACTOR PLOW" on the back of the frame . It is a 2-14" plow that is dark midnight blue it is on factory round spokes with a steel tail wheel. It is very good shape with no missing or broken parts. Has anyone ever heard or seen one of these neat little plows?

I had one at one time but I sold it to a farm equiptment salvage yard, but saved the name plate that reads identical to what you describe. He may still have it if you need parts Some time ago I saw a posting on this board from Jeff Wiard who is a decendent of the company. You might find it in the archives.

Had a Wiard mounted plow at one time. Impossable to find shares for it.

Never heard of wheel caried but have seen several mounted ones, Mostly on Silver King Tractors
