I have a #9 baler but the manual that came with it is for a model #10 bought from a non MF dealer and don't know anything about difference's. I have called 2 local MF tractor dealers but neither sold or dealt with balers and etc. So far the only difference that I see is the pto shaft and the sheet metal covering the packing arms doesn't swing up to get in and work on things. Don,t want to buy another book if only minor differences. Seems to be in very good condition for being 30 some years old. Thanks for any info that can be provided

Homer, Try 40 years old. The 9 and 10 balers are basicly the same. The only difference being the 10 is greater copasity. I ran a 10 for 25 years. Just make sure the timing is correct and luberidate the knotters every so often. Good luck and have some fun.
