Is it just me, or does there seem to be a serious lack of parts availability for older equipment. I have a JD hay Rake, and a JD 290 corn planter, both which are in need of parts. I can't seem to find anyone who specializes in parts for them, and am wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to find them let know!!

I think lots of older dealers would have the parts in their bins but the problem is they have not been cataloged so no one knows where they are or what they are. There is a garage near me , used to be an IH dealership, has lot & lots of old parts, stuff for binders, planters, etc. but nobody knows what they are.

Where are you located? I might be interested in going for a drive to check out that old garage for horse drawn equipment parts.
