Can anyone tell me how to lower the pickup from the transport position? Just bought the baler, and although I've ordered the manual it hasn't arrived yet.
Thanks in advance.

On the outside of the right hand side of the baler, about center of the pickup reel, a vertical flat bar about 1" wide. Has a notch in it that catches on the bracket to hold the pickup assembly up. Might or mightnot have a pin to lock it in place. Slightly pull up on the pickup with one hand and slide the bar back so the notch doesn't catch, pickup will then set down to the height set by the guage wheel.

When transporting, be sure to lock the bar in place, as a bump in the road can cause the pickup to bounce, and if the bar slides off the notch..... ..!!

Thanks Garry! I saw that bar but didn't realize it was carrying the weight of the pickup. I thought it was just some kind of guide bar. Thanks again for the reply,
Mark
