Does anyone know how to make a 66 make nice bales. On mine the side of the bale farthest from the auger is always lighter and softer than the cut side of the bale. Is there any adjustment I can make so it will make better bales? Thanks, Brandon

Your problem might be due to improper windrow or ground speed. Like the other poster says- get the manual for advice.

Set the wad board to go in to the bale case and stop 3-1/2" from the far side.(This is done with plunger at Frond dead center) I just used a piece of 2x4. (the 4 is really about 3-1/2) This is done by slipping the chain on the wad board drive. run it by hand to make sure the plunger/wad board timing is correct. If I were you, I would get the Operators manual from a NH dealer.
