Tedder repair

I just bought an old Kuhn GRS21 tedder/rake. Along with it I got a bunch of new parts - it looked like the previous owner intended to do some repairs. One thing that needs to be replace that's causing me trouble is the two dish shaped discs that the rake arms bolt to. These are the things rotate and are made out of thin steel. It looks like the ones on there had been welded several times. So I've taken all the arms off but I see no obvious way to get these discs off. Anyone ever tried to tackle this? Any suggestions on getting these off would be greatly appreciated.
