Parts are available and they are one of the major sellers in the USA market. The price is too much for a 10' tedder. New 10' tedders sell for new in my area, East TN, for $800-1,000.

Here in Va that tedder would have been sold with questions asked the very day the add came out in the paper, no dealers within 50 miles can keep tedders in stock, there hard to come buy this year becasue of all the rain,

Thats a decent price, before this year a independant dealer was selling the 10 ft sitrex for 1,025 dollars NEW

Sitrex is handled by one of the shortline wholesalers, Woodhouse, I think. So if you have a dealer that handles Woodhouse (or whoever), then you can get parts. Sitrex is a lower cost unit to begn with, but I know of a couple, and they seem to do the job. The price sounds iffy for a used, narrow, shortline (off brand?) tedder, I'd price a new one to see how much the used one was discounted.
