We just came up with an old farm implement from a Middle Tennessee Dairy Farm.

The only information on it is:

Lacta
225 E
60/MIN

Does anyone know what this item is???? It came from my better half's parents farm. It was found stashed away in an old out building. She is going to use it as yard ornament but would like to know the original use for it.

Any help would be great.

I looked and couldn't find your pictures, maybe that's why no one followed up.

Not much to go on but the 225and the 60 min sounds a little like a pasturizer

Paul: My first thoughts re the word lacta being part of a milking machine. On the item 60/min could be rate of pulsation of a milking machine. Most milking machine pulsators operated around that speed. 225E could be a model number. Just looked at dictonary lacto or lacta latin for milk.

I know, but when asking for help, it's a pretty flimsy description! Any little clue at all, like size or attachements or....

No harm meant on my part tho, I've done worse when on the forms..... .. ;) ;)

I was wondering about a cream seperator or some such, as people do put those on lawns....
