Can anyone tell me where I can get the pieces to build a wick applicator out of PVC pipe?
Thanks, John

There are a lot of sponge type ones that pull with a 4 wheeler around, usually in back of sheds since RR soybeans. They usually go cheap if you can fine one.

John: I have a comercially made 6' applicator I bought for $100. new ten years ago, and its not for sale. If I look over the craftsmanship in my weeder and cost, I think you will be quite poorly paid if you make one. You should reach all of $0.25 per hour. for your time.

Check with your local fertilizer/chemical dealer. They are likely to be happy to supply you with plans, hoping to sell some product.

Hi John,
i have seen them build with nylon braded rope stuffed in the ends of compression cpvc tees. with the branch of the tee attached to a 4" cpvc header pipe. i think i remember seeing the tee's at lowes. i've seen a picture of a wick wiper that used a long loop of nylon streched between pulleys and driven by a 12 volt. the rope was driven down into a vat of chemical then up and across the pullies. always wanted to try that but have not gotten around to it yet.
