New Idea Manure Spreader-help

I have an old ground drive unit. On the right side (looking from behind) the cog and gear system that drives the chain that moves the manure back has a problem. I think I have the main problem figured out(broken spring), but there is a dual "dog" system also there that has me a little baffled. It appears the spring for it is bent or broken too.

I have the same or similar spreader. Agco now owns New Idea and can help with that. Go to your local dealer and try. Mine helped me.
