I know that it's early but I also know that at my age- in a few minutes it will be winter. Where can I get a front mount blade for my ford 3ooo or for my 8n? Thanks a bunch. Pete

Bob - If you do not weld try finding somebody that will do the project. I also live in a snowbelt region of NY and pushing is much better than using a back blade. If you have the storage area you might try the next step. A dedicated 4X4 plow truck, heated cab etc. I picked mine up for under $800.00 during summer auction a few years ago. I'll Email you some pictures that you should get some ideas for your tractor project.

Go to your Myers snow plow dealer. They have a front mount " Heavy Adjustable Tractor Mounting Bracket Also referred to as H.A.T. mounting bracket. I got a quote of $850 for the H.A.T. Bracket, I think that was high, I usually call around and can get better prices.

You cut and bolt to your tractors needs. You can get a cylinder to run off of your tractors hydrulics or if your alternator is powerful enough an electric lift / hydrulic unit.

They will sell you plow etc. and any thing else if your do not have it. If you check it out you might find a used plow cheaper.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Bob. Will do. It is expensive but after last winter, here in NY, it may be worth it. I plowed backwards with a grader blade on a 3000 too many times. Pete
