You people are the smartest resource that I know of, so here is my off topic question. What is the best thing to take the bug juice off of my truck?? (without damaging the Clear Coat which they tell me is quite sensitive & very expensive to re-do)

Thanks folks!

Yeah you need to keep the bug juice off the paint or it will kill clearcoat.

I use Simple Green in a squirt bottle. Spray the bugs and let it soak a minute then squirt again and they wash right off. It does'nt hurt the clear coat or any other paint at all- been using it for years.

I use Simple Green in my windshield washer thru love bug season. It will get the guts off the windshield and does'nt streak real bad if you have good blades.

I agree, Simple Green works great on bugs. It also does a good job on brake dust.
