Where can I find specs on a JD 336 baler?
PTO? weights? horse power requirements, etc.?

First go to your dealer or JD website and get the manual for your baler. They don't cost that much and are worth every penny for the care and feeding info. Now to your immediate Questions - weight is 2400 to 2500 depending on how it is equiped. JD says 35 hp tractor minimum [I think somebody is a might optimistic]

we baled for 20+ years with a 336 baler and a 35 hp john deere 1010 gas and wit worked very well. We were even at high elevation 7000+ and very hilly terrain.
