I am looking for a pittman stick for a ihc mower.Anyone know where I can find one.

Just purchased a new one for my model 25 V for $10.00 from Case/IH dealer (Mc Guires )

Thanks for the help.Got the part # from sicle service .com and then my ih dealer could find it at another store on the shelf.

Mills Farm and Fleet has blanks..you just drill them or cut them as needed,,works great for me,,Jim

Or just make one, it's just a straight piece of wood. Almost any hardwood will do. Hickory or ash is best but I made one out of oak a few years ago and it has held up.

Probably TSC (tractor supply store)Saw a box full of various sizes and shapes at TSC the other day. Most any tractor supply, common use item.

TSC has a variety of them at about $10 each. By the time you buy the wood, and finish it, then wait for it to dry, etc... it is cheaper to buy one (it is definitely for me, b/c I get 15% off, and tax exempt, so I get most anything for next to nothing) Just tell us what the model is, and we can either get one, or we may have it. The computer says in our district that only 2 stores get them in on a regular basis. Most stores will have to raincheck it. Or have one sent from another store (ususally no charge on something small like that).

I work at the TSC in springboro, Ohio (wow, an 18 year old who works!!) And I just got a sickle bar mower for my C farmall. I didn't look REAL close, but it doesn't look like the wood will last much longer. I'll let you guys know tomorrow if we can get them. BTW, what model mower do I have? it bolts to the axle, no tail wheel and a 7ft bar. Many thanks!!

Look for a data plate on it or take your stick in to match up.
