I'm shopping around for a light duty rotary mower to use with my NAA. There doesn't seem to be a Kingkutter dealer around here for a hundred miles but the local equipment dealer sells Kodiak mowers and says they're about the same quality wise as the KK. He wants $650.00 for a 5'.

Anyone have any experience with Kodiak? I've searched the web for any info and can't seem to find much. I'd like to find out how much the thing weighs as weight is a factor cause I've got some slopes to deal with and want the lightest one I can find.

Thanks

Greg,
I'm also looking at Kodiak. Go to www.kodiakmfg.com for their website. They seem to be well built, with 3/4" plate steel disk for stump jumper. Chassis seems well reinforced. Price for 6 ft med. duty in East TN. is $695. They're made between Chattanooga and Knoxville. Good luck.

Kodiak is so much better than KK it is not even funny. It's like the difference between a Lexus and a YUGO. The KK is the YUGO and the Howse is bottom of the barrel.
