Can someone tell me the MODEL #?
I just acquired an Oliver 4 row disk. It belonged to the father of a freind of mine and I have known about this particular disk a zillion years. I feel sure it was purchased in the mid to late 50's---possibly the early 60's. It has a square tubing frame with wheels set outside the tractor width. A crank style adjustment rod passes up from the tongue through the frame. The wing set is adjustable. It has three bearings to the axle-all are sealed-no alimite. 7" blade spacing.
I'll appreciate any help identifying this disk.

You'll probably have to find an old Oliver dealer with books and take a picture and dimensions to find the precise number. My guess is 252, 262, 272. There were several made nearly the same. The differences on some where whether the frame was made of standard structural steel shapes or custom shapes, how many gang angles, how flexible the gangs and then size. Oliver manuals are available from the Floyd County Historical Society at Charles City, Iowa, but you need the number to place an order. Oliver donated the entire manual library to the historical society and they sell copies.
