Can anyone tell me if the knife arm can be replaced without taking the entire knotter apart. I am trying to find the easiest way possible to replace the arm. Thanks John

The way that I do it is swing the knotter up and take off the billhook tension cam and then take the carter key out of the knife arm and then wiggle the arm out and yes with a little patience and common sense it will come out easy. Hope this helps

You might want to replace the brass rollers located on the ends of the knife arms when you have the knife arms out however the rollers can be replaced while the knife arms are installed by tripping the knotter and turning it to a point where you can access the roller through a hole in the gear.
