I am trying to find out if any one offers plans on how to build your own finish mower (like a Woods 3 blade model)I am looking for a supplier for heavy duty spindle parts and in general just need some good drawings to get me started. I was given a "H" International which is in rough shape (block cracked)(that's why it was given to me)and I was wondering where to get parts for it. It also needs some sheet metal and possibly a gas tank, are these items available anywhere. Thanks for your time in helping me out.

I have a parts tractor that sounds like it might be close to what you need if you are close enough. It is also an H with a good engine (bad carb. and intake, and also has a good gas tank. The sheet metal is all there, but pitted in a few areas so you probably wouldn't be too impressed with that. however, you might not be willing to drive to Wisconsin for it.

Look on the homepage of this site for a story of restoring a "near dead" Farmall H, it sounds like yours is even closer to dead. As I recall he's about $3500.00 into the job. I'd get the tractor working before starting on the mower.
