I borrowed a Troy-Bilt, 8 HP rear tine tiller. Its maybe 25 years old. Before returning it I would like to replace the missing battery (this model is both pull start and electronic ignition). Can you tell me whether the Troy-Bilts were 6 or 12 volt systems? Right now the tiller is apart for repairs (needed befoe I borrowed it) so I can't start it up to do a VOM check. Thank you.

Jim

I've only seen 12 volt Troy-Bilts.
