Superior Sickle Bar Lubrication Problem

I have a Superior Sickle Bar Mower. I mow 10 acres of hay with it. I have used it about 2 years. There is a grease fitting that won't take grease. It's on the main bearing on the outside of the drive assembly. I have tried a different grease fitting. I can see the shaft turning inside the grease fitting hole. I'm afraid it will trash the bearing if I don't get grease into it. It's marked with an M in the manual illustration. Any help would be appreciated.

i've had some luck with just filling the hole with kerosene and follow it with super clean by castrol (at walmart in purple jug) run the little rascal for a few seconds and flush again. sometimes it makes a good rain cold day project just to tear it down and give it a good cleaning. it could also be that it doesn't need grease if its a sealed bearing that been put in in place of one that would need greasing. the kero super clean stuff is great for cleaning anything. just don't in hale the super clean it will take your breath from you. i just use it out side if i can. may you and your family be safe
