JD 500 round baler

Need some advice on pros and cons of this model baler belts are average condtion rollers in working condtion sprockets average ware prices is right any thoughts on this baler I have NH 851 chain baler that has seen it's better days thanks and god bless our troops CDH

Unless they practically give this thing to you, then don't. I've got a 510 and it's trouble enough to bale with and keep running. good luck,

I had one. JD's first generation baler. Buy something newer, you'll be a lot happier. I wouldn't give $500 for one like new condition.
