I've got a 275. I don't know much about the history, but it WILL make banana shaped bales. As far as it being reliably it never gives any trouble, but you have to travel slow they over feed easy. Done everything possible to stop the curved bales but nothing will fix it.Just my experience with it, Ken.

And then there's my 275, which I bought used, about 10 years ago, and it has always made perfect shaped bales. Misses a knot once in awhile, because the knotters are worn, but fast or slow, heavy or lite, the bales are always beautiful. Go figure. BTW, I've never adjusted anything in the chamber, on the time honored "ain't broke, so don't fix it" principle.

mike, thank you for the encouragement
i got this baler at a daler auction this year,
i made one bid and i owned it. havent seen much wrong with it just need a rim for the light side. and i agree if it runs leave the hood shut.
this baler will be a sight faster than the N/H-66
i have used for the past 4 years. thanks again Fre
