What kind of service could I get out of a king kutter tiller. I'm looking at a 60" and a 72" rear tiller for a 35 to 40 hp tractor. Any adviced or suggestion would help. Thanks in advanced, Eddie

I have a 72" King Kutter and it is the best investment I have ever made. It is like playing in the sand box (5 acer's in size) I have a Ford 3600 tractor (42 hp) works fine. Go ahead and make the purchase. I put a hitch on the rear so you can pull a wagon or trailer when you have the tiller on the tractor.

Are you just going to do gardens, or get into some fields with it and actually work it??? Do you have a compact tractor or a "utility" tractor?? For a field tiller a 60" will be matched to a 40 "pto hp" tractor fairly well, "IF" it's NOT a compact tractor. 72" in the field needs more than 40hp to really run it right in all conditions. For gardens you can get away with a bigger tiller than the tractor should really have, as you won't be tilling all that long at a time. Really in a field tiller, you need a multi speed gearbox on the tiller to do the job right, and Howard is the brand of choise for me. I've got (3) and have nothing but good things to say about all of them! The King Kutter should work out for a garden tiller. Robert
