I have ran across a 605 Super G baler for $3,500 and I am looking for anything someone might know about it & how the price seems. I am familiar with Vermeer Rollers a little bit but I don't know much about this one. It looks reasonablly good and doesn't seem to have been abused. It has 5 wide belts & no narrows. How do all wide belts do vs. narrows?

Thanks,
Rick

I just got an F this fall, I understand anything F & newer is a good baler, assuming the condion is good. Wide belts are better. The price is right up there in my opinion, but some areas charge a lot for round balers, others they are cheap. If the belts are in good shape, not too bad a price from a dealer.

This bale has had its belts replaced because when new it had 9 or 10" belts only on the outsides. Wide belts all the way across is and advantage. That's about what the baler is worth, $ 3,500. The rubber strips on the starter roller are worn out if you can see any cords in them. They are not that expensive but critical to staring a bale with this baler. We have sold hundreds of these balers and can help you over the phone if needed. Carter & Carter Machinery- 423-282-6969
