Which plow is better, a disc plow or a bottom turn plow?

That is like asking which is better, a blender or a butcher knife? You'll have to tell us what you plan on doing, what your soil is like, etc.

Around here in heavy clay soils, I've only seen one diskplow. But in other locations, that's all you see. So, we can't tell you which is 'better.' No right answer there - both have their uses.

The flat breaking plow is better in row crop land! The disk plow is better in new ground or pasture. The disk will roll over a root and the flat breaker will go under it. If its a big strong root something has to give!
