Can anyone tell me how to spray sweet corn for ear worm, and what to use, hw much and how often? Also, if I use my regular sprayer booms will Roundup accidently getting on the stalk hurt it. If I use a wick set up. Do I need to use my pump, or is it gravety flow? How far apart would I put my rope wicks? And how far from the ground. Thanks

Yea, any round up on a plant will definatly damage it, and on corn a small amount will kill it. As for your rope wick my dad had one years ago and it is gravity fed, just a 4" pvc pipe with a 90 on one end facing up with screw cap, and glue cap on the other end. The wicks were overlaped, looked like two rows one on top of other with about two inches between the conectons in the rows and probably about 1 or 2 inches between rows. O yea he made a device to mount to front of our 630 JD that looked like a cube made of angle iron hinged at all four corners with a hydraulic in the middle with hoses going to back to be controled by tractors regular hydraulics. Good Luck
