Dave,

Here is the one I have mounted on my 2000. Handy as can be. Only a 3ft bucket but that works nice when trying to get in and around the horse stalls. Can actually put the dirt in the stalls when needed. It does lighten up the back right tire but it is no more of an issue than a two armed loader lightens up the entire backend. It will lift about a 1000 lbs and in my opinion that is enough for the front ends under these tractors. The mechanical dump is the 711 and the hydraulic is the 722. It is handy and will come off the tractor fairly easy. I have got to get a better way of doing this with mine but it seems it could be done. Gave a $100 for mine and that seems to be the going rate.

Key is to get mounting brackets for it that fits your tractor. If it came of an 8N then the brackets will not work on a 601 series and finding them is next to impossible. Most times you have to buy a loader to get the brackets. I would love to find a 722 and a dirt pan that is factory made. I have one I made in a hurry one day and it has done a bunch of work but I would at least like to see a good picture of the factory one. If you need an extra hand that can lift a fair load then it will do you well. If you are looking to use it in the grading business then you probably ought to keep looking.

No real experience with them other than I remember them around in the 60s. Didn't seem to catch on too well. I would think they would put all the lift weight on one side of the tractor. They always looked interesting anyway.
