I have a New Idea 501A loader that I want to put on my IH 404 Utility. It has a trip type bucket, but I want to convert it to full hydraulic. Can anyone tell me the dimensions (length, stroke, bore, rod diameter, high/low pressure) of the bucket cylinders? Also does anyone have this combination of tractor and loader and can share any tips on mounting the loader to the tractor? I have a high pressure set-up including a high pressure aux. pump on the tractor.

I am in the processs of putting a larger bucket and dual hydraulic cylinders on my 2001 IH trip bucket model loader. The owners manual for my trip bucket model also has the info for the hydraulic version. That type information and just measuring the closed distance and the open distance should get you a closed length and stroke requirements.
