Hi, these are good spreaders. I have a H model that I bought for $500 in good working order. If it needs alot of work then I think $100 would be a good price.

The HH (Horse H) spreader is a 4 wheel version of the JD H spreader. Parts are still available from JD. I bought one a couple of years ago and put a new bottom in it, got axle bearings and a couple of ratchet/pawl springs from JD. They also have the parts book for it.

I paid $100 for mine, put about $300 plus labor into it. The axle bearings were frozen, the bottom needed to be replaced, the angle iron over the axlem mounts had to be cut out and replaced and the sides needed to be patched/reinforced around the beater bearings.
