is it worth keeping or tearing apart for nuts/bolts and metal for future projects ??

Got a free NH 66 baler with wisconsin motor (stuck), a siezed plunger and a tree had been growing into and out of the back end around drive sprocket for hay pick-up.

What would you do, waste time rebuilding, its has sat a while, but was working when parked owner says. Im concerned might be more parts siezed like sprokets and knotters

whats the value on these running and parts to fix ? i was thinking of maybe putting a pto shaft and clutchonto fly-wheel and turn it into pto baler ?

Got agree with the others. Even if you want it for a museum piece, there are others to be purchased that would be in working order. Steve

sounds like it would cost a lot to get it goin. The 66's are nothing to brag about anyhow. I own one that works well, but makes odd shaped bales. If you want a 66 bad enough, I'll sell you mine. ;) Very nice shape. But if it were me, I would look for a different baler. Hope this helps, Brandon
