MF AB-O-22 Disk Harrow

I have one of the above 3-pt, 24 blade disks. It is handy and does a good job, but some of the cast iron spools/bearings are shot. I would like to repair it but the parts from MF are outrageously expensive. I purchased one spool last year, I believe it was around $60, and used it along with some new bearing caps I picked up at an auction in a job-lot box of parts. I was able to rebuild one gang. I have a feeling the upper cap would be around $80 and the lower one probably $50-60. When you multiply all this by 8 for the whole disk, it doesn't make much sense. Do any of you know of a source for these parts that is more resonably priced. The part nos. are: spool--662048M2, upper half--662046M2, and lower half--662047M1. Thanks.

I recently purchased 1 of those disks and was wondering how you go about removing the disks .I tried loosening the bolts but the whole gang spins. Any info would help greatly thanks

I have spools and caps of all different sizes.
What diameter axle and what legenth is spool?

Upper cap $105
Lower cap $85
Find a parts disk.
