Looking at a couple of OMC mower conditioners, one is a model 229 and the other a 235 swing tongue. Prices look good but I cannot find any info on this manufacturer. Can someone point me to a website or give me information on age of these implements and availability of parts.

I think Gehl took over OMC in the early 80's. . . don't know what they have in the way of OMC parts.

OMC WAS Owatonna Mfg. Co., of Owatonna, Mn. Built grinder mixers, swathers, and got taken over many (20?) years ago by someone else. Check with other dealers , maybe check with AGCO since they absorbed so many short lines over the years.

I think Tim is right about Gehl. OMC also made a round baler with rollers instead of belts, and I believe Gehl picked up on that. When those dimples on the rolls wore down, they would not pick up cornstalks very well.
