I have the chance to buy a JD model R manure sreader but have no idea what it is worth. It is in good working condition but needs paint and maybe a few new boards. I belive it is a 45 or 46 model. Could someone please tell me what years they were made and how much it would be worth.

Have one had for over 30 years, still as good as when bought, was used heavy the first few years hasen,t been used lately, floor boards starting to go as having to set out the last couple of years for no room. Built more in late 50's

Owned one for a short time. Kept it cleaned off and under a roof 90% of the time. It still rusted
out. Even the axles and brackets. Boards were nearly gone when I got rid of it after3 or 4 years. Look at the axle and brackets that hold them in place. I wouldn't give more than $50 ,even in good condition. Heavy use, it will not take. Light , or occational use probably ok.
