Can anyone tell me what kind of pre-emergent
herbicide to use for grass & weed control on
black ol sunflowers? I use a 1240 JD planter
on 38" rows. Thanks for any help.

There is alot of choices. The old standby is treflan for grasses and fargo for wildoats. Also prowl is another. Be sure to take care of them or you will have a field full of silver dollar heads that only the deer will benefit off of. Get ahold of a chemical rep. you trust and get the info. you need for your area.
