Having problems finding rear rims for this hayrake. Anyone have any ideas. Mine are almost beyond repair. These are 15" with 6 holes.

Early 60 to mid 60 Chevy trucks had 15" 6 hole wheels. I have no idea if the hole pattern or centers would match. Could be a place to start.

Call Shoup Manufacturing in Kankakee, Il. Ph. 800-627-6137. They have a lot of new wheels and will UPS ship them to your door.

Take your exact dimensions to your tractor dealer. He should have reference books from wheel suppliers to match what you need. Or make a paper pattern and take it to junk yards, auctions, etc. Oftentimes older, smaller wagons, sprayers, other machines used the same size rim and may sell cheap. If the bolt pattern is in good shape, you can separate the rim from the wheel and replace the rim with another one you split, that had the wrong bolt pattern. You'll usually find eight weld spots which you can drill out to make the separation. Then just weld the two good parts together.

What's the center hole diameter, bolt circle diameter, and rim width?

Dale, this is an intesting question. I looked up in the parts book, and the rim is officially 15" by 41/2" wide. That part would be easy. It's the 6 lug in such a narrow rim that might make this hunt fun. The 56/256 rakes use the same size rim, but they are 4 lug. Dale, the best supplier of ag rims in America is probably PIONEER WHEEL AND RIM COMPANY out of Minnesota. Here is their number: 1-800-888-1358 If they don't have it, I'm not sure then. Steve

Aren't they just a typical implement rim? I have a 55, but never looked, as my rims are fine. Now, the tires on mine....
