I was on the web about field corn and sombody said they didnt like the old planter as they made too many skips in the field. Said that weak springs in the trip under the seed plate could be the problem . What do you guys think? I remember skips in the field 50 rs ago when these planters were 50 years newer than now? Also, here in Okla, or at least N E Okla its hard to get anything other than open p[ollinated seed corn in March. Anybody got any suggestions. Im the only one aroun here that plants 10 acres of it that I know of although since they carry it others must plant it at different places.

I've dealt with these people for many years. Good hybrids, graded seed for plates still readily available, not as expensive as other brands, and they are willing to sell you just a couple bags, unlike others who won't deal with you unless you need a pallet full.
